Capital Programme Lead
Opportunity to join a major capital investment programme focused on modernising, managing and optimising physical assets across the region. As part of the Investment PMO, you'll help build the analytical 'engine room' that supports strategic planning, delivery performance and financial reporting.
This is a PMO-style, insight-driven role sitting at the intersection of asset management, delivery and finance, ideal opportunity for someone highly numerate, proactive and Excel-savvy, with a strong grasp of capital project reporting and investment lifecycle planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support long-term investment planning across the capital programme
- Build and maintain financial and programme baselines
- Analyse large, complex datasets in Excel to identify trends, risks and variances
- Monitor full project lifecycles, from funding to delivery
- Provide clear insights and reports to senior stakeholders and shareholders
- Contribute to quarterly regulatory reporting through data-led insights
What We're Looking For:
- Strong understanding of project financials and capital investment principles
- Advanced Excel skills: confident handling complex data and modelling outcomes
- Experience in regulated industries such as utilities, energy, infrastructure or transport is highly desirable
- Strategic thinker, able to draw conclusions and influence direction
- Familiar with project reporting, funding models and lifecycle tracking
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity in fast-paced, evolving environments
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills across functions and seniority
- Primavera P6 experience is highly desirable
- Qualifications such as APM, PMI or MRICS are highly desirable
