Job Description

My client is a highly reputable and well-known London based firm, looking to recruit a Financial Administrator into their award-winning Business Services and Outsourcing department.

My client is a globally renowned Accountancy firm, looking to recruit a highly motivated and skilled Financial Administrator into their Business Services Team. They have a large client base, with particular focus on the technology industry, working with some of the largest international companies around. Within the role you will be given a large amount of responsibility in the team, looking after your own portfolio of clients and assisting the senior members of the team with ad hoc tasks. It will be a fast-paced environment and they are looking for a committed candidate that wants to progress their accounting education and career within Practice.

You will be either nearly AAT qualified or at the beginning of your ACCA/ ACA qualification, with 1-2 years' experience in a similar role. On the job training will be provided and you will be given the opportunity to learn new skills and accounting software. After the 6-month mark study support will be given, including study days and funding.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Preferably studying AAT or equivalent, but not essential
  • Strong IT skills and sound knowledge of Excel
  • Ability to manage own tasks, good time management and able to work to tight deadlines
  • An analytical approach with good attention to detail
  • Self-disciplined, proactive, able to make and justify own decisions
  • Very strong communication skills
  • Forward thinking, demonstrating an ability to influence in order to move forward with an idea
  • Understand the need and be prepared to get the job done
  • An enthusiastic, smart-working individual with a "can do" attitude is vital
  • A willingness to learn and grow within a commercial environment where client care is the primary focus
