Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day cargo pricing and establish robust rate guidelines to maximize profitability.
- Perform yield management analysis to identify and drive the optimal cargo mix.
- Proactively gather, monitor, and review market trends and competitor information.
- Prepare accurate revenue forecasts and track performance against targets.
- Assist in feasibility studies for pricing strategies and trade services; contribute to business development plans and key commercial projects.
- Deep-dive into all key components of the trade service P&L to identify cost-saving and revenue-generating opportunities.
- Undertake ad-hoc duties and commercial projects as assigned by leadership.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Business, Maritime Studies, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pricing analysis or commercial operations within a large shipping/maritime firm preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with a sharp eye for detail.
