Job Description
An American Network Infrastructure Provider with leading portfolio of networking solutions who is looking for a contractor responsible for managing customer inventory of reverse logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage reporting for inbound shipments
- Liaise with third party logistics team to ensure timely systematic receipts of inbound shipments
- Maintain working log of all parts moved to assigned quarantine location
- Analyze systems for data alignment and make or request adjustments as needed
- Provide support to third party logistics team when issues arise preventing material in-bounding from designated orders
- Manage and drive refurbishment activity
- Document physical product configurations as needed in support of customer network designs
- Coordinate with other team members to support refurbishment of parts in assigned quarantine location
- Provide input regarding
- Order/request materials needed to support product refurbishment
- Support customer requests to debundle assemblies in assigned quarantine location
- Conduct post-mortem reviews on returned items due to incorrect configuration
- Provide input on proper packaging of items
- Support outbound packaging order activity as needed
- Initiate material transfers to other project codes, warehouses or external sites as needed
- Assist with the collection of any item attributes (e.g. specific part measurements, photographs etc.)
- Assist with management of the packaging inventory
- Assist and contribute to the development of new custom packaging
- Attend all team meetings as required
- Adhere to all aspects of health and safety in warehouse including safe handling of ESD components
- Management reserves the right to add or delete duties as deemed appropriate.
Skills & Qualifications
- 3-5 years warehouse experience with material handling and inventory control
- Experience of inventory control and management systems
- Working without direct supervision
- Experience of electronics/telecommunication hardware
- Experience of working in a fast-paced, volatile environment
- Experience of handling and resolving customer queries
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English to manage stakeholders
- Excellent personal organisation and business administration skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work productively, efficiently and effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality
- Excellent Excel Efficiency
- MS Office Suite and Google Docs Suite
- SQL Simple query writing
- Ability to work evening and weekend hours during peak periods
- Ability to travel abroad, offsite meetings, company related functions, etc. with short notice.
