Job Description

Our company, a leading MNC within their space is looking for Finance Officer to support their Trade Finance Manager. This is a newly created role, with a visibility to permanent

The Company is seeking a motivated finance contract staff who is keen to be a part of corporate funding team, The role will also enable the candidate to assist in arranging alternative and structured and asset financing deals. The candidate will assist with a wide range of duties, including analyzing data, cash flow modeling and pre-transaction collateral evaluation, preparing pitch deck using financial reports, and learning about varied financing activities. This is an exciting opportunity for any candidate keen to pursue a corporate and structured finance role. The candidate will have the chance to work on real client assignments and actively participate in professional negotiations with the banking community, business partners in commodities trading and finance professionals across different continents.

Main Responsibilities
 Translate raw accounting data into meaningful financial dashboards for senior management under pre-agreed framework
 Collaborate with the finance team on funding, facility renewal and deal monitoring activities, to ensure smooth financial close of transaction
 Prepare write-ups and prospectus materials for presentation purposes as well as assist in drafting documents and term sheets by collating and analyzing deal data and verifying source information
 Perform cash flow modeling on deals to calculate asset and loan amortization tables
 Collate research materials, industry analysts/brokerage reports and draft agreed-upon communication points for senior manager's review
 Manage contact list for banks and counterparties involved and follow up on live deal progress
 Assist with coordination and logistics for bank meetings and presentations
 Support the deal team in ad hoc projects and communication to external parties
 Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by manager Profile

The individual should have the following experience:
 Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting major
 Proficient in Microsoft Office, special merit will be considered for Excel and Powerpoint
 Aptitude for mathematics
 Strong grasp of financial and accounting principles
 Attention to detail
 Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills and comfortable in dealing with counterparts from Greater China
