Our client is an established eCommerce facilitator, seeking an entrepreneurial Brand Acquisition Manager to join the team!
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales by implementing category specific sales strategies, spearheading strategic relationships while locating, targeting, pitching, and managing a pipeline of prospective brands and SME's. You are required to effectively execute strategies to market to these brands and share the benefits through listing on our client's platform. The candidate will be handling the full on-boarding process for brands - from contract negotiations to handling of the new signed brands onto respective category teams. This individual will be working cross-functionally with marketing, commercial, store operations, warehouse operations teams and others where applicable. The ideal candidate needs to be agile in their approach, be able to deal successfully with contacts at all levels to discuss the value proposition, and also support high value projects.
The Successful Applicant:
The successful applicant should have three to four years of sales and business development experience, preferably in the eCommerce, retail technology, or software industries. This individual should have demonstrated successes in exceeding targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach while maintaining exceptional relationships with clients, and should also possess good negotiation skills. You should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with ambiguity when the situation arises. The candidate should also have strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
