Build strong technical foundations in financial modeling, valuation, and market concepts, and stay current on macroeconomic trends and major deals. Research the bank’s culture, recent activities, and leadership to personalize your responses to “Why this bank?” Practice behavioral questions using the STAR method, and craft a clear, confident story that ties your background to the role. Keep your resume sharp and concise, and be ready to discuss markets, deals, or trade ideas. Having earned a Master’s in Finance from DePaul University and a Bachelor’s in Business Creation from Tecnológico de Monterrey, with international academic experience at IPAG Business School in Paris, I bring a diverse and well-rounded perspective to financial services recruitment. My early career was rooted in financial planning and risk consulting roles, including positions as a Financial Analyst and Business Consultant at Protiviti, where I supported Fortune 500 clients with strategic planning, data analysis, and regulatory compliance. This foundation gave me hands-on insight into how global institutions operate from the inside out.

Today, I specialize in front-office recruitment at Morgan McKinley Japan, partnering with global and regional banks to place top-tier talent in investment banking, structured finance, and corporate banking roles.
