Key Responsibilities

Compliance & Regulations

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation and best practices, advising management on changes and their implications.

Policy & Program Development

Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and management systems.

Lead initiatives to reduce risk, improve safety performance, and promote sustainability.

Risk Management & Incident Control
-
Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, and workplace inspections.
-
Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective action.
-

Training & Awareness
-
Deliver EHS training, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns to employees and contractors.
-
Foster a safety-first culture by engaging with staff at all levels.
-

Audits & Reporting
-
Lead internal and external EHS audits, inspections, and certifications.
-
Prepare and present EHS performance reports, KPIs, and improvement plans to senior management.
-

Emergency Preparedness
-
Develop and test emergency response and crisis management plans.
-
Coordinate fire drills, evacuation plans, and first-aid readiness.
-

Sustainability & Environmental Stewardship
-
Drive initiatives to minimize environmental impact, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and resource conservation.

Monitor environmental compliance and reporting obligations.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline
