We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join our client's busy conveyancing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in providing high-level administrative support to a team of Conveyancing Specialists.
Key Responsibilities
- Generating legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
- Dictaphone typing, maintaining a high degree of accuracy and speed.
- Managing the end-to-end administrative side of property transactions (Sale, Purchase, Re-mortgage).
- Utilizing Case Management Software to progress files and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Assisting with AML checks, Land Registry searches, and post-completion tasks
- Acting as a bridge between the fee earners, clients, and mortgage lenders.
The Ideal Candidate
- Recent experience specifically within a Conveyancing department.
- Must be highly proficient in Dictaphone typing and have a strong working knowledge of legal software/Case Management Systems.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise a heavy workload without losing attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a confident, professional telephone manner.
