    Key Responsibilities

    • Align local HR operations with global strategies to ensure consistent and efficient service delivery
    • Lead and improve in-house and offshore HR services, managing escalations and partnering cross-functionally
    • Analyze data to identify trends and implement process improvements that enhance employee experience
    • Manage performance of HR vendors and systems, driving operational excellence and cost-effectiveness
    • Ensure full compliance with employment laws in Japan (and Korea), managing audits and regulatory reporting
    • Serve as system owner for key HR platforms, ensuring accurate and compliant employee data
    • Promote a culture of collaboration, transparency, and innovation across regional teams

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    Experience:
    • 8+ years of experience in HR operations, preferably in regional or global environments
    • Strong background in HCM systems, case management tools, and vendor oversight
    Knowledge & Expertise:
    • Deep knowledge of Japanese labor laws (Korean labor law knowledge is a plus)
    • Proven experience leading teams and cross-functional projects
    Soft Skills:
    • Growth mindset and open communicator
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement abilities

    Language Requirements

    • Japanese: Native level
    • English: Business level
    • Korean: (Preferred, but not mandatory)

    Preferred Skills & Qualifications

    • Experience managing multi-country HR operations
    • Demonstrated ability to drive digital transformation in HR
    • Strong interest in talent development and leadership coaching
