A leading global investment bank is seeking an experienced Non-Flow Credit Sales Vice President to join its Tokyo front-office team. In this role, you will focus on developing and managing relationships with Japanese financial institutions, delivering tailored credit product solutions and supporting complex credit trading activities. This is a high-impact role within the global markets division, offering strong exposure to institutional clients and international trading teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Non-Flow Credit Sales activities for Japanese financial institutions based in Japan.
- Develop and manage relationships with key institutional clients including banks, asset managers, and financial institutions.
- Provide market insights and tailored credit product solutions aligned with client investment strategies.
- Collaborate closely with trading desks and internal teams to structure and execute credit transactions.
- Monitor market trends and client demand to identify new opportunities within credit markets.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of Non-Flow Credit Sales experience within an Investment Bank in Japan.
- Proven experience covering Japanese financial institutions and institutional clients.
- Strong understanding of credit markets, credit products, and institutional trading environments.
Soft Skills:
- Strong relationship-building and client engagement skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability in fast-moving market environments.
- Ability to collaborate with global trading teams and internal stakeholders.
- Strong commercial mindset and results-driven approach.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native level
- English: Business level
