    Join a leading global exhibitions and events company as a Marketing Director in Tokyo, driving end-to-end marketing strategy across Japan.

    This is a senior leadership role where you will own marketing strategy, digital acquisition, and brand growth across a portfolio of large-scale trade events. You will play a key role in driving visitor and exhibitor growth, leveraging data-driven marketing and collaborating closely with sales and business teams.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies to drive exhibitor and visitor acquisition
    • Align marketing initiatives with business and sales strategies through market segmentation and customer journey mapping
    • Define and track KPIs and ROI, optimising campaigns based on performance data
    • Lead digital marketing strategy including SEO, SEM, and paid media campaigns
    • Implement lead generation and nurturing programmes using email marketing and automation tools
    • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities
    • Present marketing performance insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    Experience:
    • 10-15+ years of experience in marketing (in-house or agency)
    • Proven experience across full marketing lifecycle including ROI optimisation, lead generation, and campaign performance analysis
    • Hands-on experience with SEO, SEM, digital advertising, and marketing automation tools
    • Strong project management experience managing multiple campaigns and stakeholders
    Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
    • Highly organised with excellent planning capabilities
    • Results-driven with the ability to execute large-scale initiatives
    • Proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
    Language Requirements:
    • English: Business level
    • Japanese: Native level

    Preferred Skills & Qualifications

    • Experience in B2B marketing or event/exhibition marketing
    • Marketing certifications such as SEO or web analytics
