A global semiconductor manufacturing leader is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support its Operations Group. In this strategic role, you will partner with global business leaders to design and execute people and talent strategies that drive organizational performance and long-term growth. Working closely with senior leadership and global HR teams, you will help shape workforce planning, leadership development, and organizational design within a highly innovative, global manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with global operations leadership to align HR strategy with business objectives.
- Act as a strategic advisor and implement people priorities across the organization.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support leadership decision-making.
- Collaborate with global HRBPs to translate business strategy into workforce and organizational plans.
- Execute talent strategies including talent management, organizational design, and performance management.
- Identify leadership strengths and development needs while building strong talent pipelines.
- Guide workforce planning, capability development, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 5-10 years of HR Business Partner experience, ideally within global or multinational organizations.
- Experience supporting senior leaders within complex matrix organizations.
- Strong analytical capabilities with experience using HR data to inform decision-making.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and executive presentations.
- Solid understanding of HR processes including performance management, talent development, employee relations, and organizational change.
Soft Skills:
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within global teams across time zones and cultures.
- Confident partnering with VP, Senior Director, and Director-level leadership.
- Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native level
- English: Fluent
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience supporting operations or manufacturing organizations.
- Exposure to semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or technology industries.
