As a Senior QA Engineer (Haken), you will play a critical role in ensuring platform security and stability through advanced fraud prevention testing and scalable QA automation strategies. Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end QA activities including strategic test planning, analysis, execution, and reporting.
- Design, build, and maintain robust automation test frameworks to accelerate release cycles.
- Identify, document, and track software defects while performing deep root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with global onshore and partner teams through technical reviews and cross-border discussions.
- Protect the integrity of critical login and registration features to prevent high-impact production incidents.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance and full-scale testing
- Strong expertise in advanced test design and execution within large-scale environments
- Proven experience in defect management and technical root cause analysis
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail in mission-critical systems
- Ability to work across teams and manage priorities in fast-moving environments
- Clear communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native level
- English: Conversational level (functional for professional collaboration)
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript, with API/UI automation experience (Selenium, Cucumber, REST Assured)
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
- Knowledge of performance testing to validate stability in high-traffic environments
