Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full frontend development lifecycle from UI/UX collaboration to testing, deployment, and operational support
- Translate complex business requirements into responsive and accessible web applications in partnership with product managers and designers
- Develop advanced user interactions using modern JavaScript frameworks while ensuring cross-browser compatibility and maintainability
- Conduct root cause analysis of frontend issues and implement proactive improvements for system stability
- Research and introduce emerging frontend tools and best practices to improve performance and developer productivity
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 5+ years of professional experience in web application development with strong frontend focus
- Hands-on expertise in JavaScript / TypeScript and frameworks such as React (preferred), Vue.js, or Next.js
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and modern styling preprocessors for responsive design
Soft Skills:
- Strong collaboration skills working with backend engineers, designers, and stakeholders
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify bottlenecks and optimize performance
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment
Language Requirements:
- English: Fluent (TOEIC 800+ or equivalent)
- Japanese: Basic level
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Figma or other UI/UX prototyping tools
- Familiarity with Docker or containerization technologies
- Understanding of backend technologies such as Java or Python
- Knowledge of browser rendering mechanisms and network performance optimization
- Experience mentoring junior engineers or leading technical discussions
