Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend architectures for enterprise data platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and distributed engineering teams to deliver robust solutions.
- Ensure high code quality through reviews, testing, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the mid- and long-term vision of the product and platform architecture.
- Research and evaluate new technologies to enhance system performance and platform capabilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 5+ years of software development experience using Java and/or Golang.
- Hands-on experience with microservices, RESTful APIs, and SQL databases.
- Proven experience working in cloud environments, including Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
Soft Skills:
- Strong collaboration skills in team-oriented engineering environments.
- Logical and structured approach to problem-solving and system design.
- Proactive mindset with ownership over design, implementation, and delivery.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Basic level
- English: Intermediate to business level
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience building tools or workflows using Python.
- Exposure to data platforms, ETL/ELT pipelines, or workflow orchestration.
- Familiarity with large-scale data processing or messaging systems.
