A global leader in the insurance and financial services sector is seeking a Haken Program Manager (Networks) to lead large-scale IT programs in Japan. This role sits at a strategic level, overseeing multiple complex projects, budgets, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives. You will operate in a high-impact environment where enterprise IT governance, financial control, and strategic execution are critical to success.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the overall program roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategy
- Establish and manage portfolio governance, including steering committee updates and risk management
- Own program-level budget management, financial tracking, and reporting
- Plan and execute portfolio-wide resource allocation across multiple projects
- Act as the primary liaison for senior stakeholders and manage external vendor performance
- Track benefits realization and report on program outcomes and value delivery
- Manage inter-project dependencies and lead change management initiatives
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in IT or technical program / project management
- Proven experience managing complex, multi-project IT programs or portfolios
- Strong hands-on experience with portfolio and project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project)
- Solid background in budget ownership, financial planning, and reporting
- Experience working within structured governance, compliance, and risk frameworks
Soft Skills:
- High-level strategic communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong leadership across cross-functional and multi-project environments
- Advanced change management capability and adaptability
- Excellent organizational skills with a diplomatic, governance-driven mindset
Language Requirements:
