A global semiconductor manufacturing leader is seeking a Global HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support its High Performance Computing (HPC) organization. In this strategic HR role, you will collaborate with global leadership to design and implement people and talent strategies that support advanced engineering and R&D teams. Working closely with global HR leaders and senior executives, you will play a key role in aligning workforce planning, organizational design, and talent development with the company's technology and business growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Global HR Business Partner to support leadership within the High Performance Computing (HPC) organization.
- Develop and implement strategic HR initiatives aligned with business and engineering priorities.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support leadership decision-making.
- Collaborate with global HRBPs to translate business strategies into workforce and organizational plans.
- Execute talent management initiatives including performance management, organizational design, and talent development.
- Identify leadership potential and development needs to build strong talent pipelines.
- Guide workforce planning, talent forecasting, and capability-building initiatives for engineering and R&D teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 5-10 years of HR Business Partner experience, ideally within global organizations.
- Experience supporting engineering, technology, or R&D teams.
- Strong analytical capabilities and experience using HR data to support decision-making.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentation.
- Experience operating within complex global matrix organizations across cultures and time zones.
- Solid knowledge of HR processes including performance management, talent development, employee relations, and organizational change.
Soft Skills:
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership influencing capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within global teams.
- Strong communication skills and global mindset.
- Ability to influence senior leaders while maintaining strong working relationships.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native level
- English: Fluent
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience supporting semiconductor, technology, or advanced manufacturing industries.
- Experience partnering with global engineering organizations.
