    A leading financial institution is hiring a General Affairs Manager to lead critical operational functions in Tokyo. This high-impact role oversees office services, vendor management, facility security, and business continuity while aligning with global governance standards. Ideal for a seasoned operational leader from the banking industry, this role offers the opportunity to drive operational excellence in a globally connected environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as the main liaison for GM-OS (General Management - Operational Services) matters in Tokyo, defining processes to enhance governance and efficiency
    • Lead and mentor the GM-OS Corporate Services team, cultivating teamwork and high performance
    • Manage facility operations, site security, procurement, and continuity planning in line with global policy and local regulations
    • Oversee office infrastructure and property maintenance while aligning with corporate real estate strategies
    • Coordinate with property managers, vendors, and IT teams to ensure smooth facility operations and contingency readiness
    • Act as the in-house lead for outsourced procurement activities, maintaining supplier compliance with KYB and regional procurement standards
    • Ensure compliance with internal standards and promote ethical conduct across GM-OS operations in Tokyo

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    Experience:
    • Minimum 8 years' experience in general affairs, operational services, or security-related roles within the banking sector
    Education & Certifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Economics
    • Facility Management, Security, or Business Continuity certifications are a plus
    Soft Skills:
    • Proven leadership, team motivation, and conflict resolution capabilities
    • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
    • Adaptable, resourceful, and service-oriented
    Language Requirements:
    • Japanese: Native level
    • English: Intermediate to Business level

    Preferred Skills & Qualifications

    • Background in facility and IT infrastructure coordination
    • Experience working in a highly regulated, multinational corporate environment
