Manager - Data Platform

Responsibilities

• Analyze new requests and challenges, providing recommendations and solutions to enhance data enablement, analysis, and delivery initiatives.

• Perform reviews and enrich data-related processes, frameworks, governance, and models to improve overall data management and quality.

• Oversee project management for data platforms and applications, including conducting feasibility studies, analyzing solutions, budgeting, resource planning, defining requirements, and collaborating with users and vendors throughout the UAT process and project launch.

• Ensure timely delivery of projects by adhering to established procedures, guidelines, quality standards, and managing project scope, timeline, budget, and resources effectively.

Skills Reqd

• Over 5 years of project management and system analysis experience in data-centric domains, with a strong focus on MIS, data warehousing, data analytics, big data platforms, and AI.

• Skilled in various data technologies (such as data streaming and data lakes), concepts (including data modeling and metadata), and tools (like SQL and analytics/visualization software).

• Preferred experience in Banking or Financial Institutions, with proven ability to thrive under pressure, meet targets, and demonstrate strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills, alongside experience in large-scale projects and vendor management.

• Proficient in Cantonese and English.
