Data Architect

Responsibilities

• Design and manage a robust enterprise data model and feature stores to enhance product quality, ensuring safety, reliability, cost efficiency, and superior user experiences through scalable, reusable patterns that accelerate deployment.
• Lead the creation of high-quality design deliverables and documentation for the data architecture, enabling streamlined development and deployment of data-driven solutions.
• Govern a diverse set of components, including data ingestion patterns, Data Catalog, Feature Stores, Data Warehouse/Lake/Delta Lake/Marts, Reporting & Visualization, AI (including GenAI) solutions, model libraries, and data scientist workbenches, to support innovative and efficient data operations.
• Develop architectural blueprints and compile architecture summaries for leadership and executive stakeholders.

Skills Reqd

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines.
• 10+ years of expertise in analyzing, designing, and developing architectures for Data & Analytics systems, with consultancy experience in architecture projects being a significant benefit.
• Proficient in a wide range of Data & Analytics technologies, including Datalake/Lakehouse/Deltalake, Azure-based cloud solutions, Reporting & Visualization.
• Skillfully identifies technical debt in existing systems, spearheading decommissioning strategies and design enhancements to effectively address and resolve issues.
• Demonstrates strong peer leadership by influencing others and applying structured thinking to distill complex challenges into clear, actionable solutions.
• Experience working on systems in China.
