A leading global manufacturing organisation is seeking a hands-on Process Engineer to join their high-performing team in Limerick. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys being on the production floor, supporting equipment performance, resolving issues in real time, and driving continuous improvement in a regulated environment.
The Role
As a key member of the technical operations team, you will be responsible for:

Providing day-to-day line support, responding to equipment issues and process deviations.

Troubleshooting mechanical, process, and automation issues to ensure consistent line performance.

Monitoring critical process parameters and ensuring compliance with GMP and quality procedures.

Identifying and implementing process improvements, focusing on yield, uptime, and optimisation.

Supporting validation, equipment upgrades, and change control activities.

Working closely with manufacturing, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve issues and maintain high operational standards.

Preparing and maintaining documentation in line with regulatory and internal requirements.
About You
We are looking for candidates who bring:

A Level 7+ engineering qualification (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Process, Mechatronics, etc.).
Applicants with strong hands-on maintenance experience and a relevant Level 7 qualification will also be considered.

Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (med device, pharma, electronics, food, etc.).

Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to make informed decisions under time pressure.

A hands-on approach, comfortable being on the production floor daily.

Understanding of GMP, quality systems, and documentation processes.

Experience supporting automated or semi-automated equipment is a distinct advantage.

Continuous improvement mindset, with exposure to Lean/Six Sigma tools an asset.
