    A Cork-based pharmaceutical manufacturing company is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer. This role offers a significant opportunity to manage the entire project lifecycle, applying Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) expertise. As a Project Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for delivering diverse projects. These include the installation of new distribution boards across manufacturing and utilities, power upgrades for manufacturing facilities, and HVAC replacements and upgrades.

    • Responsibilities:
    • Lead and manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
    • Develop project scopes, budgets, and timelines, and define clear project goals and deliverables.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and external contractors, to ensure seamless project execution.
    • Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of new electrical systems, distribution boards, and power upgrades.
    • Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies to identify project requirements and potential risks.
    • Ensure all projects comply with relevant electrical engineering codes, standards, and safety regulations.
    • Manage project documentation, including technical specifications, drawings, and change orders.
    • Skills, Attributes & Experience:
    • Solid background in Electrical & Instrumentation engineering
    • Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
    • Minimum of 5 years of Project Management
    • E&I project delivery experience in any of the following sectors: Pharma, MedTech, O&G, Food & Beverages, manufacturing or Design/PM consultancies relating to the same.
    • Proven track record managing full project lifecycle, from scoping and design to execution and handover
    • Provide support to fee and capital budget proposals as required.
    • Advanced knowledge of all applicable electrical engineering codes, standards and acceptable industry practices.
    • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and team-oriented mindset
