    Payroll Specialist (12-Month Contract) - Co.Limerick, Ireland

    Key Responsibilities

    • Processing multiple weekly and monthly payrolls.
    • Collating timesheets, holiday entitlements, and reconciling hours on a weekly basis.
    • Co-ordination of timesheet processing and management of the Time & Attendance (T&A) system, including all absences.
    • Coordinating new hire setups, leavers, T&A entries, as well as various other payroll/personnel transactions and adjustments.
    • Providing direct customer service to employees with high-quality, professional, and timely responses to queries.
    • Processing of all statutory payments in line with prevailing legislation.
    • Ensuring compliance with payroll internal controls (SOX processes), and company guidelines.
    • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, payroll processes, pensions, Benefit-in-Kind (BIK), and other additions and deductions.
    • Effectively working with an external third-party payroll provider.
    • Liaising with national tax authorities (Revenue) and various third-party providers as necessary.

    Requirements

    • Previous Irish (IRE) payroll experience is essential.
    • Relevant payroll qualification (IPASS or equivalent) is essential.
    • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
    • Excellent attention to detail.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Intermediate Excel skills, including formatting, data validation, and data analysis.
    • Possess the ability to work as part of a team as well as using own initiative.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship-building abilities.
