Payroll Specialist-City West-Hybrid
We have an exciting opportunity for a bright Payroll Professional to join a leading international engineering company based in City West. This pivotal role sits within a collaborative payroll team, where you will have significant scope to further develop and enhance your UK and ROI payroll skills.
We are seeking a payroll professional with strong experience across UK and ROI payrolls to support the delivery of weekly and monthly payroll cycles. In this role, you will take ownership of maintaining accurate payroll data, ensuring full statutory compliance, and resolving employee payroll queries in a timely and professional manner. You will work closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to uphold reliable, efficient payroll services while continuing to build your knowledge of UK and ROI payroll legislation and tax rules.

Core Responsibilities:
- Delivering accurate weekly and monthly payroll cycles for the UK and ROI payroll.
- Handling manual adjustments, statutory elements, and pay variations.
- Supporting BACS submissions and payroll reporting.
- Processing core payroll items including base pay, overtime, bonus entitlements, and statutory payments.
- Ensuring compliance with tax rules, auto enrolment, and statutory requirements.
- Managing pension contributions and statutory deductions.
- Maintaining employee benefits in line with policy.
- Resolving payroll and benefit queries, escalating where needed.
- Working with HR, Finance, and support teams on system updates.
- Contributing to the delivery of new system features and continuous payroll process improvements.
- Assisting with internal checks and payroll audits.
- Partnering with internal teams to resolve payroll issues.
What You'll Need:
- Minimum of 2-6 years IRL and/or UK payroll processing experience within a medium to large organisation
- In-house payroll experience is advantageous
- IPASS qualified
- Experience using Coins payroll system advantageous
- Ability to understand and resolve payroll related queries
- Solution orientated individual, someone who is passionate about payroll and payroll as a service
- Strong communication skills, ability to build rapport with employees as well as other departmental
relationships
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work towards team deadlines
