Reporting to the Corporate Finance Director, you will play a key role in delivering corporate finance and transaction advisory services to clients, managing assignments from initial planning through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of corporate finance engagements from planning through to completion
- Build strong relationships with business owners, management teams and senior stakeholders
- Liaise directly with clients, financial institutions, legal advisers and other professional advisers
- Prepare and review financial models, valuations, transaction reports and business plans
- Supervise and mentor junior team members
- Contribute to business development activities, including proposals and client pitches
- Support the continued growth and development of the corporate finance service
- Maintain strong technical knowledge and keep up to date with relevant market developments
Requirements:
- ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent qualification
- 5+ years' experience within Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Advisory or Investment Banking
- Proven experience managing corporate finance or transaction assignments
- Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills
- Excellent understanding of financial statements and commercial drivers
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
- Experience managing or mentoring junior team members
- Excellent project management and organisational skills
- Commercially minded, proactive and solutions-focused approach
