Job Overview
We're seeking an IT Support & Systems Administrator to deliver end-user support and manage day-to-day system and network tasks. This role involves 1st and 2nd line support, hardware and software maintenance, basic network administration, and supporting IT infrastructure within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite and remote technical support to users
- Manage incident and service requests (1st and 2nd line)
- Build and deploy IT hardware (desktops, laptops, tablets)
- Troubleshoot software issues and perform installations/upgrades
- Administer users in Active Directory and MS Exchange
- Support mobile devices and RF handheld scanners
- Track IT assets and support hardware lifecycle management
- Assist with backups, patching, and basic infrastructure tasks
- Make VLAN changes and support networking hardware
- Support video conferencing, AV tools, and telephony systems
- Learn and provide support for internal ERP system (training provided)
- Participate in IT projects, occasionally outside regular hours
Requirements
- 3+ years in an IT Helpdesk or Support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office
- Experience with Active Directory user management
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals and IT asset management
- Experience in manufacturing is a plus
- Certifications (MCSA, CCNA) desirable but not essential
- Hands-on, self-motivated, and service-oriented
