Our client, a global manufacturing and technology organisation, is undertaking a major business transformation program aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and digital capability. They are seeking an experienced Operations Project Manager to lead and coordinate key projects within this global initiative.
The role will focus on driving process improvement, ERP implementation, and operational harmonisation across regions. You'll work closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure delivery excellence, manage project workstreams, and support teams through significant change.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning, coordination, and execution of operational and supply chain transformation projects.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring timelines, dependencies, and milestones are clearly managed.
- Act as the primary liaison for key stakeholders, ensuring business requirements are captured and reflected in project delivery.
- Collaborate with process owners and system specialists to translate operational needs into practical solutions.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and resource requirements, ensuring proactive communication and mitigation.
- Oversee testing, quality assurance, and transition activities to ensure solutions meet operational expectations.
- Champion change management activities by promoting awareness, adoption, and engagement across teams.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, outcomes, and improvement opportunities.
Experience Required
- 5+ years' experience in project management, preferably within large-scale transformation or operational excellence programmes.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives in multi-site or global environments.
- Experience implementing or optimising ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, IFS, or similar).
- Strong understanding of operations and supply chain management processes.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple stakeholders across technical and business functions.
- Background in manufacturing, industrial, or technology-driven environments preferred.
- Degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, or Lean Six Sigma advantageous.
