Responsibilities
- Partner strategically with overseas project stakeholders to oversee comprehensive finance functions for our international portfolio. This includes optimizing liquidity management, driving stringent cost control measures, spearheading annual budgeting processes, and delivering accurate management reports.
- Deliver high-quality analytical support, financial modelling, and performance metrics to the senior management team to facilitate strategic, data-driven decision-making.
- Design, implement, and rigorously enforce internal control frameworks and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure financial stability, operational integrity, and risk mitigation across all entities.
- Oversee the full spectrum of local statutory bookkeeping. Act as the primary liaison for external auditors and tax advisors to ensure strict adherence to local and international tax compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Embrace the agile nature of a family office by providing ad-hoc support for general administrative and operational duties when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline.
- Qualified Accountant holding active membership with HKICPA, ACCA, CPAA, or an equivalent recognized body.
- A minimum of 12 years of progressive, relevant work experience in accounting and finance.
- Proven, hands-on experience in managing overseas finance operations and navigating cross-border financial matters is a strict requirement.
- Previous experience working within a private enterprise, investment holding company, or family office is highly preferred. A stable career track record will be viewed very favourably.
- Highly independent, confident, and detail-minded. You must possess strong commercial acumen, allowing you to view financial data through a strategic business lens.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Flexibility and willingness to undertake international travel to visit overseas projects when required.
- Fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
- Candidates who are immediately available or have a short notice period will have a distinct advantage.
