SAP QA Lead

About the Role

Our client, a global organisation in the regulated manufacturing sector, is undertaking a strategic SAP S/4HANA Cloud ERP transformation programme to strengthen their operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

They are seeking an experienced Senior SAP QA Lead to define and implement the Quality Assurance strategy for the programme, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and embedding quality governance across all project phases.

This role offers a senior leadership opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams and influence quality at a programme level.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement the QA strategy for a large-scale ERP transformation.
• Establish and maintain quality governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
• Lead the QA workstream following a standardised "fit-to-standard" approach.
• Collaborate with ERP consultants, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure quality requirements are embedded in system design and configuration.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations such as GxP, electronic records/signatures standards, and relevant regulatory guidelines.
• Support system validation activities and quality-related documentation reviews.
• Oversee audit readiness, electronic controls, and data integrity processes.
• Facilitate workshops and training to promote a quality culture.
• Track and report quality KPIs, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience

• Proven leadership experience in Quality Assurance within regulated manufacturing or life sciences environments.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA or equivalent ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management processes, batch management, traceability, and inspection planning.
• Experience integrating ERP systems with quality and laboratory systems (e.g., LIMS, EQMS).
• Deep understanding of compliance requirements such as GxP, GDP, ALCOA++, and regulatory data integrity guidelines.
• Experience with Computer System Validation (CSV) and audit readiness.
• Familiarity with process modelling and validation traceability tools is desirable.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
