    Job Title:Senior Licensing co-ordinator

    We are currently working with a state body that is looking for a Senior Licensing Co-ordinator to support their regulation division. The following details outline the core expectations and functional requirements for this upcoming position. The role is a 12 month contract with the potential to be extended or be permanent. They offer a hybrid model with 2 days on site in their city centre office.

    Responsibilities

    • Act as the subject matter expert for licensing by overseeing operational activities and developing relevant process and communication documents.
    • Manage case turnaround times by drafting responses and escalating issues as required.
    • Lead operational projects and change management initiatives while providing weekly and monthly reporting for the SME area.
    • Conduct statistical analysis on both a scheduled and ad-hoc basis to support informed decision-making.
    • Maintain and develop business systems related to the area of expertise by liaising with helpdesks and third parties.
    • Analyse business requirements and conduct user acceptance testing to implement operational system changes.
    • Oversee contract management and service delivery by monitoring supplier KPIs and maintaining ongoing liaison.
    • Ensure the quality of deliverables through regular process checks, audits, and third-party reporting.
    • Prepare material for replies to public representatives and Parliamentary Questions within the required timeframes.
    • Draft written responses to queries from industry and consumers while preparing communication campaigns for licence holders.
    • Liaise with other departments to ensure all responses are issued within the specified timelines.

    Requirements

    • Hold a 3rd level degree and have a minimum of four years' satisfactory experience in a relevant field.
    • Possess at least two years' experience managing people or projects.
    • Demonstrate a proven ability in analysing data and preparing professional reports.
    • Show experience in operational management, including the maintenance and development of organisational processes.
    • Oversee service delivery through regular reporting across suppliers and the review of associated budgets.
    • Manage complaint handling through preliminary reviews, investigations, and conclusions within prescribed timeframes.
    • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to extract ideas for senior management.
    • Maintain high proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
