Legal Compliance Analyst
Our client is seeking a sharp, proactive Legal Compliance Analyst to join their dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will provide vital administrative and general support to the Compliance function while partnering closely with the Legal team on strategic, company-wide projects.
Key Responsibilities
Working alongside an established compliance team, you will:
- KYC & Due Diligence: Execute "Know Your Customer" (KYC) onboarding, prepare compliance plans for customers/UBOs, and conduct critical trade route due diligence on airline customers.
- Screening & Monitoring: Run watchlist screenings for transactions and prospective vendors, complete annual reviews, and stay ahead of changes in local laws and regulations.
- Reporting & Governance: Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance reporting, while maintaining robust compliance policies and procedures.
- Collaborate & Train: Coordinate group responses to third-party KYC requests and assist with staff compliance training.
- Strategic Project Support: Partner with the VP of Compliance and Compliance Officer to execute high-impact legal, compliance, and shareholder-driven projects.
What You Bring
The Essentials:
- Education: A third-level qualification in Law, Compliance, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in a legal support or compliance capacity.
- Tech Skills: Advanced proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
Desired:
- Direct experience working within a legal department or compliance role within aviation leasing or a closely related sector.
