A well-established cross-border life insurance provider is seeking a Product Oversight & Governance (POG) Specialist to support the expansion of its product offering within the European market. The company specialises in unit-linked products and operates within a robust regulatory environment.

Role Purpose
The successful candidate will ensure that a strong Product Oversight & Governance (POG) framework is in place across product development, underwriting, and distribution oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the Product Oversight & Governance (POG) framework in line with regulatory and risk management standards.
- Prepare and maintain POG documentation for new products and product changes.
- Support the development and review of life insurance products, ensuring customer needs and target market requirements are clearly defined.
- Support compliance, regulatory, and audit projects relating to product governance.
- Assist in meeting regulatory requirements including PRIIPs, IDD, and other relevant European regulations.
- Monitor regulatory developments and ensure timely implementation of new requirements.
- Ensure appropriate oversight and governance of distribution partners.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent standards across product lines and markets.
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years' experience within life insurance.
- Experience working with product governance or regulatory frameworks.
- Knowledge of Italian and broader European insurance regulations is desirable.
- Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory environments.
- Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical business procedures.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical capability.
