Morgan McKinley is currently partnering with a major Irish retail bank to hire for Intermediary Mortgage Experts in their contact centre in Blackrock, Dublin.
This is initially a 11-month contract through Morgan McKinley.

Your Role:
As an Intermediaries Mortgage Expert, you will report to the Team Leader in the Intermediary Mortgages team. You will be responsible for the review and validation of mortgage applications submitted by the intermediary channel. Your role will also involve daily interaction with Mortgage Intermediaries to support them in the packaging of good quality, fully compliant mortgage applications.
Your Team:
You will be a member of the Intermediaries Sales Management. The team comprises of 28 members in total split into Sales and Sales Support. This is a Business-to-Business sales operation whose sole focus is the acquisition of new mortgage business via the Broker Mortgage Market.
Your Responsibilities:
* Review all intermediary mortgage applications to ensure that they meet agreed standards and are in line with credit policy
* Uploading mortgage applications in an accurate and detailed manner
* Validate all relevant information on mortgage applications i.e. name, address, income
* Fully prepare mortgage applications
* Interact with Brokers and colleagues in other departments to answer queries and provide status updates if required.
* Tasks and activities are subject to Quality Assurance (QA). You must achieve satisfactory levels of QA across all tasks you perform.
* Follow all policies and procedures and industry regulation.
* Assist with loan offers and cheque issue for intermediary mortgage applications
* Provide ongoing telephone support to broker panel
* Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with intermediary staff
* Meet all Service Level Agreements relevant to the area

* Provide administrative support to the Sales Support Manager, Team Lead and Relationship Managers * Due to the changing nature of work, we encourage flexibility and a willingness to tackle new activities as required.
Requirements:
Essential
* Some experience in financial services in either an operations or customer facing role is required
* Good time management skills with the ability to work to tight Service Level Agreements
* Excellent PC skills (in particular Word and Excel)
* Keen attention to detail with good organisational skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to encourage collaboration with colleagues to deliver a seamless service.
Desired
* Good understanding of the mortgage services industry with broad understanding of competitor products and services
* Broad knowledge of mortgage underwriting/credit decisioning & Mortgage Operations
* QFA or working towards same is desirable for this role
