Salary Band: €40,760 - €44,473
About the Role
We are seeking a Finance Officer to join a not-for-profit organisation on a short-term contract. This role is central to ensuring smooth financial operations and supporting the organisation's mission.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate weekly and monthly creditors, travel, and subsistence claims.

Maintain accurate filing of financial records and ensure GDPR-compliant backups.

Reconcile monthly bank accounts, clearing all reconciling items.

Manage weekly/monthly petty cash reconciliations.

Reconcile company visa, Soldo, and bank card transactions monthly.

Assist with monthly payroll for all staff.

Support the preparation of monthly Management Accounts.

Contribute to Year-End Accounts, including reconciliation of deferred income, receivables, accruals, and other balance sheet accounts.

Assist in preparing financial returns for funding bodies.

Support funding proposals and other reporting requirements.

Assist with the implementation of the new Auto-Enrolment Pension Fund.

Carry out any other duties consistent with the role of Finance Officer.
