Brand & Communications Director
Role Summary
A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Brand & Communications Director, this candidate must have a strong understanding of brand governance, architecture, and must have worked on brand repositioning projects. This role leads the enterprise brand across multiple international markets, and is responsible for how the organisation is represented externally and ensures alignment across campaigns, content, communications and client experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Brand Leadership
- Develop and evolve the global brand strategy and positioning
- Create a cohesive narrative that supports business growth across international markets
- Oversee brand architecture, identity systems and messaging standards
Campaigns, Content & Market Activation
- Partner with regional teams to bring the brand to life across campaigns and client engagement activity
- Provide direction on brand execution across digital platforms, social media, events, proposals and marketing communications
- Support commercially driven sponsorships, partnerships and strategic events
Reputation & Communications
- Work closely with Communications and leadership teams to support reputation management and earned media activity
- Ensure alignment between external brand positioning, thought leadership and internal communications
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and mentor an internationally distributed brand team
- Influence senior stakeholders across a matrixed business environment
- Balance enterprise-wide consistency with regional relevance and flexibility
Candidate Profile
- Extensive experience in senior-level brand, marketing or communications leadership roles
- A proven track record delivering enterprise-wide brand transformation or repositioning programmes
- Strong expertise in brand strategy, narrative development and commercial storytelling
- Experience operating across multiple geographies and cultures
- Knowledge of brand governance, reputation management and change integration
- The ability to influence at executive level within complex organisations
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and leadership capabilities
- A data-informed and commercially focused approach to decision-making
- Degree-level qualification in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline
- Flexibility to travel internationally when required
