Sales Executive
Our client is seeking a motivated Sales Executive to support the continued growth of their logistics business. This position is suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced commercial environment, enjoys developing strong customer partnerships, and has a passion for identifying new revenue opportunities.
You'll play a key role in strengthening existing client relationships while actively expanding the customer base, working alongside internal teams to deliver tailored sales solutions.
What You'll Be Doing
- Take ownership of a portfolio of customers, acting as their main point of contact and ensuring their ongoing business needs are met.
- Generate new sales through business development activities, referrals, and outbound prospecting.
- Spot opportunities to increase revenue by introducing additional services and solutions to existing customers.
- Prepare pricing proposals and negotiate commercial agreements that deliver value for both the customer and the business.
- Liaise with operational teams to ensure customer expectations are met and service levels remain high.
- Monitor customer activity, identify trends, and take action to maximise account performance.
- Keep CRM records up to date, ensuring all customer interactions and opportunities are accurately recorded.
- Contribute to sales planning by providing market feedback, pipeline updates, and forecasting information.
What We're Looking For
- A proven ability to achieve sales targets and build lasting business relationships.
- Previous experience in a customer-focused commercial position, with responsibility for developing or managing client accounts.
- Strong negotiation skills with the confidence to influence decision-makers.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and capable of working independently while contributing to a wider team.
- Excellent planning and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Comfortable using CRM software and other business systems to manage customer activity.
- Experience within transport, logistics, or supply chain would be beneficial, but candidates from other B2B or B2C sales backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
