Overview
We're seeking an experienced Web Developer to join a leading technology-driven organisation in Cork on a contract basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performing, responsive web applications as part of an agile development team.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure web applications.

Collaborate with UX/UI designers and backend engineers to create seamless user experiences.

Translate business requirements into technical specifications and high-quality code.

Integrate APIs and third-party services as part of web application architecture.

Ensure performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.

Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise existing web solutions.
Skills & Experience

4+ years' experience in professional web development.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5 and CS3

Experience with React, Angular or Vue

Solid understanding of Node.js, Express or similar backend frameworks.

Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with JSON.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or other cloud environments a plus.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice to Have

Experience with TypeScript, Next.js, or GraphQL.

Background in UI/UX design or accessibility best practices.
