Tax Consultant

I am currently partnering with a Cork city based advisory firm looking for an ambitious Tax Specialist/Advisor.

This role is ideal for a candidate that is passionate about Tax and eager to expand their career in this area.

Reporting directly into the managing partner, you will be responsible for providing tax advisory services to a range of clients in a client focused environment.

What we are looking for:

• Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant: with solid post-qualification experience.
• Tax Focused: Ideally CTA qualified or currently pursuing the qualification.
• The "Consultant" Mindset: You enjoy problem-solving, client interaction, and looking at the "big picture."
• Local Ambition: Someone who wants to make a mark within a growing Cork-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice to clients on matters relating to Income tax, Capital Gains tax and Corporation tax
• Preparation and filing of tax returns
• Handling a portfolio of corporate and individual clients
• Carry out research work on tax legislation and providing this information to clients
