Supply Chain Lead

An established and rapidly growing Irish-owned Biopharma Engineering organisation in Cork is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Lead to play a key role in supporting continued business growth.

The Role

You will lead and optimise the end-to-end supply chain function, overseeing procurement, planning, logistics, inventory, and distribution. Working cross-functionally, you will ensure operational efficiency, cost control, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Supply Chain team

• Manage inventory, logistics, and supplier performance

• Analyse KPIs and drive process improvements

• Negotiate contracts and maintain supplier relationships

• Conduct risk assessments and implement contingency plans

• Collaborate with Production, Sales, and Finance

• Lead supply chain initiatives and improvement projects

Requirements

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or related field

• 5+ years' experience in supply chain management (10+ years preferred)

• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset

• Experience with supply chain systems and performance metrics

• Proven leadership, negotiation, and project management skills

• Knowledge of industry regulations and quality standards

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
