Morgan McKinley is working with a well-established organisation in the finance sector to recruit an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist for a contract opportunity based in Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing procurement team within a well-established organisation, contributing to strategic sourcing initiatives and driving value across key spend categories.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead end-to-end procurement activities across multiple categories
- Manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluation and contract negotiations
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and align procurement strategies
- Lead complex tendering processes (RFPs, RFQs, ITTs) from initiation through to contract award ensuring compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Analyse spend data to identify trends, savings opportunities, and demand management strategies
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing procurement insights and cost analysis
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of procurement activities for audit purposes
Key Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in procurement with strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
- Professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is a plus.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
