Role Overview

The successful candidate will work as part of a small, focused engineering team responsible for delivering new features, enhancing functionality, and ensuring platform stability and performance. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and ideal for someone with deep Oracle APEX experience who enjoys building scalable, reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement new features using Oracle APEX and PL/SQL.
• Build and maintain REST API integrations with external systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product and delivery to define technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues to ensure high availability.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making.
• Stay current with Oracle APEX and related technologies.

Requirements
Must-Have:

• Minimum 5 years' experience working with Oracle APEX in a development-focused role.
• Strong PL/SQL and Oracle Database skills.
• Solid front-end development experience using JavaScript.
• Proven experience integrating with RESTful APIs.
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
• Experience delivering robust applications in a production environment.
• Comfortable working independently and collaborating within a distributed team.

Nice to Have:

• Background in SaaS, financial services, or data-driven platforms.
• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, or cloud-based deployment environments.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methods.
• Interest in mentoring or supporting other engineers.
