Job Title: Senior Manager - Cybersecurity Operations

Location: Hybrid / Cork (Confidential Global Organization)

Overview:
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global organization for a Senior Manager to lead their Cybersecurity Operations function. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for tactical cyber defense across multiple functional areas, ensuring the organization's digital assets and operations remain secure.

The Team:
The Cybersecurity Operations team is responsible for proactive defense, threat detection, incident response, and continuous improvement of the organization's cyber posture. The team includes specialists in:

• External Threat Response

• Internal Threat Response

• Threat Intelligence

• Detection & Monitoring Operations

• Attack Surface Management

• Cyber Defense Readiness

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global team of cybersecurity analysts

• Oversee day-to-day tactical operations, including monitoring, detection, investigation, and incident response

• Drive process improvements, operational efficiency, and adherence to security standards

• Manage work allocation, capacity planning, and onboarding/training programs

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business priorities and compliance requirements

• Communicate complex technical risks and security initiatives to senior leadership and stakeholders

Requirements:

• HS Diploma or GED (Bachelor's degree preferred) with 5+ years in cybersecurity, IT, or operations management

• Demonstrated experience leading operational security teams in a global environment

• Strong prioritization, project management, and process improvement skills

• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Experience with security operations, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management
