I'm delighted to be partnering with a fast growing accounting firm who are seeking a professional, organised, and personable Receptionist / Administrator to join their team. This is a key front-of-house role, ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering excellent client service while supporting the smooth running of the office.
Greet clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls
Manage meeting room bookings and prepare rooms for meetings
Handle post, couriers, and deliveries
Maintain a tidy and professional reception area
Assist partners with drafting letters when required
Maintain accurate petty cash records
Provide general administrative support including scanning, filing, and document management
Apply headed paper to letters and accounts using PDF editor software
Support the Practice Manager with ad hoc tasks
Maintain accurate client records within practice systems
Order office supplies and liaise with suppliers
Coordinate office equipment maintenance and repairs
Previous experience in a busy reception or front-of-house role
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Professional and confident telephone manner
IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
High level of discretion and confidentiality
Friendly, professional, and approachable
Calm under pressure
Reliable with strong attention to detail
Proactive and supportive team member
