Your Role:
As the Fitness and Probity Administrator you will be part of the Individual Accountability Framework (IAF) Central Team.
You will be responsible for supporting the administration and monitoring of the bank's Fitness and Probity (F&P) process, which ensures that individuals performing 'Controlled Function' roles meet the F&P standards set out by the Central Bank of Ireland, namely that they are: competent and capable; honest, ethical, and act with integrity; and financially sound.
You will also support the day-to-day risk activities within Customer & People to ensure adherence to regulation and drive appropriate resolution or remediation and within the Customer & People team.
Your Team:
You will be a member of the IAF Central Team, which is part of the wider HR team within the Customer & People function. You will report to the HR Compliance Specialist and support members of the wider IAF and HR teams. The IAF Team will offer you the opportunity to work on a wide range of HR and Fitness & Probity (F&P) processes and provide exposure to a wide range of departments across the Bank.
Your Responsibilities:
- Administration and monitoring of the IAF Fitness & Probity process within the Bank.
- Perform due diligence checks on colleagues performing Controlled Function (CF) roles and collate evidence for individual Fitness & Probity files.
- Maintain Fitness and Probity records to ensure that the data is accurate and up to date.
- Ensure appropriate oversight and approval of Fitness and Probity files in line with the F&P Policy.
- Update and maintain the HR Internal Fitness and Probity Register.
- Provide guidance on the Fitness and Probity Policy and manage relevant communications.
- Liaise with Group Compliance and other business functions in relation the governance of Fitness and Probity.
- Advocate HR's perspective in inter-business functional meetings
- Participate in internal meetings to drive project completion, agendas and document next steps/key decisions.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Excellent coordination and organisational skills - highly organised and structured in approach, with strong attention to detail.
- Good command of Microsoft products critical to the delivery of the responsibilities of the role, (specifically, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Clear track record of working effectively in situations that require decision making and may involve confidential or sensitive matters.
- Able to show excellent interpersonal skills and high professional standards for customer service and work quality.
- Ability to deliver results with little supervision and to effectively manage multiple projects and campaigns.
- Ability to work on own initiative and within the team environment.
- Proven ability of delivering to SLAs.
Desired:
- Good understanding of a Financial Services or Bank risk operating environment would be an advantage
- Good understanding of HR and compliance processes.
- Experience with metrics and data.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
