We are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Part Qualified Accountant to join a well-established and growing multi-site business based in Cork. This is a newly created role in the business due to growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and partnering with operational teams to drive performance and continuous improvement.
This role is based 5 days on site in West Cork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial activities including accounts receivable, supplier reconciliations, month-end journals, and management accounts.
- Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports and analysis for senior management.
- Complete month-end close processes, group consolidation, and reporting within set deadlines.
- Support year-end audit activities and ensure strong financial controls are maintained.
- Assist with process improvements and finance transformation initiatives across the business.
- Collaborate closely with operational managers to support decision-making and business growth.
About You:
- Qualified or Part Qualified ACA / ACCA / CPA.
- Previous experience within practice or a medium-to-large commercial environment.
- Strong reconciliation and financial reporting experience.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and motivated to improve processes.
- Strong Excel and IT skills.
