Morgan McKinley have been partnered with a global recognised business who are recruiting a Financial Accountant. This role is integral in managing, consolidating, and evaluating the financial performance. The successful candidate will handle the preparation of management accounts, monthly reports, and statutory annual accounts, ensuring robust financial controls and accurate asset and record maintenance.
The role is a 12 month contract with the view of extension thereafter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post month-end journals, and oversee the creation and distribution of daily, monthly, and annual management and financial reports.
- Provide Accounts Payable & Receivable payment and invoicing queries.
- Creating and preparing journals journals
- Responsible for the review of bank reconciliations
- Review balance sheet accounts, ensuring detailed analysis and reconciliation.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with relevant post-qualification experience.
- Advanced skills in Excel and experience with analysing large volumes of data.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proactive and able to operate independently, managing tight deadlines effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team and across different departments, showing flexibility and a willingness to support the team's objectives.
