Data Protection Specialist

Location: Cork (Hybrid)

Contract: Permanent

On behalf of my client in Cork I'm seeking an experienced Data Protection professional to join a growing GRC function.

Key highlights:

• Lead and deliver Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
• Assess complex processes and identify data protection risks and mitigations
• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, balancing commercial needs with compliance
• Manage BAU data protection activities (DSARs, breaches, policy updates)
• Support organisation-wide change initiatives

About you:

• Strong data protection experience with a clear risk mindset
• Proven, hands-on DPIA experience
• Comfortable working in fast-changing environments
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
• Background in consulting or regulated industries (pharma, finance) is a plus
