We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Grade 4 Clerical Officer to provide high-quality administrative and clerical support to a Director-level team. This is a pivotal role in a fast-paced executive environment with exposure to high-level decision-making and operations.
Contract: 3 months strong potential for extension
Location: 5Km from cork city centre
Immediate start
Hourly rate: €19.30
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to senior leadership including scheduling, meeting coordination, and documentation.
- Manage correspondence, draft routine communications, and handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Maintain and organise electronic and paper filing systems in line with organisational policies.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and briefing materials.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in a professional and efficient manner.
- Support event and meeting logistics including room bookings, equipment set-up, and minute-taking.
- Ensure all administrative processes are carried out efficiently and in compliance with applicable standards and protocols.
- Other ad-hoc duties as required to support the functioning of the senior team.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably in a public sector or healthcare environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
