Head of Compliance, Dublin

There is an exciting opportunity for a Head of Compliance & Money Laundering Reporting Officer with an financial services company. This role is offered on a permanent basis and is based in Dublin.

The successful candidate will become the PCF 15 for the firm.

The successful candidate will act as the point of contract for the regulator and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and anti-money laundering legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consultative advice to senior management and the board on all aspects of compliance across the firm. Be involved in compliance reporting to the board.
  • Ensure the firm compliance practices adhere to internal and external policies and procedures.
  • Support the various business departments in planning and enhancement of risk based financial crime plans.
  • Monitor and advise on new regulations.
  • Work closely with the firm's counterparts in the UK and across APAC in driving best practices and a strong compliance culture.
  • Ensure training is delivered at all levels and ensure awareness of compliance responsibleness and requirements.
  • Monitor and analyse Financial crime activity (AML / CTF / fraud activity).

Key Requirements:

  • Strong previous experience in a compliance function within financial services
  • Qualification in compliance or a related qualification
  • Previously held a PCF position an advantage
  • Previously interaction with the regulator
  • Dealt with senior management prior and experience reporting at board level
  • Able to work autonomously with a commercial awareness
  • Strong communication and relationship management
